Henri Matisse

We were learning about Henri Matisse. He was eighty four when he died on the third of November 1957 from a heart attack. He made 1008 pieces of artwork with paint. We had to use primary colours plus white or black to make the colours we wanted. We had to blend in white to show light direction. Then we used black pastel to add details. Henri Matisse was French and was greatly adored for his art which he called "Still Life". He was good friends with Pablo Picasso and ran a small art school named Academie Matisse in Paris between 1908 and 1911. Some of his paintings were sold for over twenty million dollars. He was born in 1869, December thirty first.
Down below is my Henri Matisse painting that I created.
