Today we were learning what Corpus Christi and transubstantiation means.
Transubstantiation means the conversion of the substance of the Eucharistic elements into the body and blood of Jesus Christ at consecration, only the appearance of the bread and wine still remaining.
Corpus Christi means the body and blood of Jesus Christ.
