March Reflection

 Today I did my March Reflection. We had to write what we enjoyed and completed this month, along with other things. I enjoyed writing about what happened this month. I also found rating the Wild Robot Escapes really fun. I found writing the 'Slam dunk' kind of tricky because I couldn't remember what I had gotten amazing at. 

I think that next time I would be more descriptive about what I had learned on my reflection. Next time I also need to work faster and be more focused on my learning.

My Favorite Sport

 Today we had our cybersmart teacher in and she taught us how to put audio on our slides by using Mote. We had to make a slideshow about our favorite sport. I enjoyed putting my voice onto the slides. I found it tricky to write about my favorite sport. Next time I think I'd change the background of my slides.

Crime Scene

Last week my class was doing a crime scene in groups. In the groups we got a little packet containing a fibre sample, white powder, fingerprints and a note. They were all from the crime scene. We had to use the skills we had learnt from our reading to see which one of the suspects stole the computer from the house. The suspects were Carrie, Cecil, Chloe, and Conner. We also had a small booklet with information on the suspects, and why they were suspected. It was pretty hard, but once we started comparing the things found at the scene with the information in the booklet, we started making connections to one of the suspects. It was really exciting when we realized who it was, because we had found this out on our own. 

My group and I decided that it was Chloe, because she was the cleaner of that house and had a key, and the powder found was washing powder, and the fibre found was sheepskin, and she was known for wearing sheepskin slippers. Also the fingerprints at the crime scene matched hers. And finally, the handwriting was the same in the note as the sample of hers. 

I enjoyed investigating the crime scene with my team, because we all used our different skills to figure it out. It was pretty tricky when we did the powder testing, because we couldn't agree on the colour of the test, but in the end we got it. Down below is the slide we had to make to put down our information.
