Yesterday we were making pictures to put our promises on for our Lenten Journey.
Lent is a time for Fasting, Praying, and Almsgiving. Lent is where we give up something we really love, and use the money from that to put in the Caratas Box or give it to the poor. Fasting means giving up something special for 40 days. Almsgiving means using money from the thing you gave up and giving it to the poor. We also pray more during Lent.
