What happens when you throw a ball in the air? It falls back down again. But why doesn’t the ball just float off into space? That’s gravity.
Gravity is the force that pulls things towards earth.
What is force? A force is the push or pull that acts against an object.
Boinks. Boinks are a flexible toy you put pressure on and it will fly up into the air. But obviously it will come down again, thanks to gravity. Dropper Popper. If you invert and drop dome-down with a ping-pong ball it will shoot up and then come down. Again, that’s gravity. So what we learned was that no matter where or in which direction, the ball’s coming down.
